Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Manage general ledger operations and account reconciliations for 50+ accounts
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Lead month-end closing procedures and financial reporting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and SEC reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing accounting teams and financial audits
