Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and account analysis for accuracy
- Lead financial statement preparation and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Coordinate internal and external audits while implementing process improvements
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial operations
- Assist in budget forecasting and financial modeling initiatives
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and tax reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate environments
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing SOX compliance and audit processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote setting
