We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Omaha, NE. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in maintaining our financial integrity, preparing monthly and annual reports, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the finance department to budget, forecast, and report on financial performance.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in the year-end close process and prepare audit schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
