Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow optimization
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit procedures
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional financial training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven track record in financial statement analysis and reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
