Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for corporate entities
- Manage complex reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental leadership
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA required)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Sage/QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing audit processes and regulatory reporting
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional financial initiatives
