Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end/quarter-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
- Lead tax preparation processes and liaise with external auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
