Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse clients across multiple industries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Implement and improve internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with audit teams and regulatory bodies during examinations
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical accounting guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
