Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audit preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with GAAP expertise
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
