Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems for executive stakeholders
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel advanced functions
- Proven track record in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
- Experience with multi-state accounting operations
