Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 portfolio companies including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) adhering to GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budgeting
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and filing deadlines
- Lead month-end reporting packages with variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Experience with SaaS or tech startup accounting
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines autonomously
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
