Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and KPI tracking
- Develop financial models for strategic initiatives and cost optimization
- Mentor 2-3 junior accountants and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience with audit preparation and regulatory reporting
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in deadline-driven environments
