Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Lead month-end closing processes and variance reporting
- Coordinate external audits and tax compliance documentation
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Maintain accurate general ledger and supporting documentation
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA)
- Strong knowledge of CA tax regulations and compliance
- Proven experience with month-end closing cycles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
