Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and team leadership
- Experience in multi-company consolidation and intercompany transactions
