Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15+ client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and compliance reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Develop and implement efficient accounting workflows using QuickBooks and Excel
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance adherence
- Provide strategic financial guidance to small and medium-sized businesses
- Mentor junior accountants and foster team growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and auditing standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex projects
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
- Tucson-based residency preferred
