Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with executive team on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Lead process improvements in accounting workflows
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance expertise
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience in financial reporting and reconciliations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
