Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, optimizing cash flow efficiency
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit processes
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex financial information clearly
