Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closing, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific financial regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Ability to independently manage deadlines in a remote setting
