- Manage multi-entity account reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Lead SOX compliance initiatives and internal control documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Implement process improvements using accounting automation tools
- Provide guidance to junior accounting staff on technical matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
