Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with tax planning and compliance for corporate and individual clients
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with advanced functions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations (CA and federal)
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions
