Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate transaction processing
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Prepare and maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead internal audits and ensure robust internal controls are in place
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
- Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities
