Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental operations
- Implement and improve internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth initiatives
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) highly desirable
