Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ client portfolios including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for corporate clients
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with CFOs to deliver strategic financial insights
- Streamline accounting processes using ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Proven experience managing accounting teams or projects
- Oakland Bay Area residency required
