Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial audits and compliance reviews
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and budgeting
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VBA) and accounting software
- Demonstrated experience with GAAP compliance and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience managing audit processes and regulatory compliance
