Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Oversee general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledgers.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to assess internal controls and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis to management.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
