Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and efficiency of processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
