Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and budget forecasting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and internal controls
- Prepare tax documentation and support external audits
- Implement financial systems optimization initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of improving financial processes
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
