Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and month-end close procedures
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Coordinate with tax authorities and manage tax compliance activities
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for strategic planning
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide cross-functional support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Experience in public accounting or corporate finance
