Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement internal controls
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental projects
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Streamline accounting workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks Online
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines with complex financial data
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and anomalies
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Tax preparation experience (individual/corporate) a plus
