Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 clients across various industries
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) with GAAP compliance
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate and individual clients
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Provide strategic financial guidance to clients during business growth phases
- Supervise junior accountants and ensure team performance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations (Federal, CA state, local)
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid CPA license or actively pursuing certification
- Experience with multi-state tax filings a plus
