Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with 3+ team members
- Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable financial insights
- Coordinate annual audits and tax preparations with external partners
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (NetSuite)
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-departmental finance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy
- Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with stakeholders
