Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and monthly closing reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and oversee general ledger functions
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and UK accounting standards
- Lead budget preparation and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 5 years of UK-based accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and SAP
- Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance and VAT regulations
- Strong analytical skills with Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
