Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for 200+ employees
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with UK tax regulations
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for departmental review
- Maintain accurate financial records in SAP and QuickBooks systems
- Lead month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting or audit roles
- Proficiency in UK GAAP and IFRS standards
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP/QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification or actively pursuing certification
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
