Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements compliant with UK GAAP
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger operations
- Conduct variance analysis and financial reporting for stakeholders
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance (PAYE, VAT)
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
- Implement process improvements for financial efficiency
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in practice or industry
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep understanding of UK tax legislation and accounting standards
- Experience managing month-end/year-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA membership or equivalent
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
