Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Conduct internal audits and financial analysis to identify trends and variances.
- Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate expense reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
