Responsibilities
- Manage month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and support budget forecasting
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Lead internal control audits and process improvements
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in accounting with UK GAAP expertise
- Advanced Excel proficiency and SAP/Oracle systems knowledge
- Proven experience in financial reporting and reconciliation
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA membership or actively pursuing
