Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Manage tax compliance and VAT returns in accordance with UK regulations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role
- Proven expertise in UK GAAP and HMRC compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing financial processes in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
