Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and SEC reporting requirements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize working capital
- Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities during examinations
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and accounting software
- Expertise in financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excel mastery (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
