Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and balance sheet accounts
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
