Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management systems
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite/Sage)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, GAAP standards, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
