Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks.
- Manage fixed asset tracking and assist with tax preparation and filings.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
