Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and complex account reconciliations.
- Lead the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for executive management.
- Streamline accounting workflows and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
