Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial statements with actionable insights
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems using QuickBooks and Excel
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Manage tax preparation and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
