Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and oversee general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate internal and external audits while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
