Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews
- Lead process improvement projects for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public/mixed background
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
