Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 diverse business clients
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement internal controls for operational efficiency
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of Louisiana state tax requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Local New Orleans market experience highly valued
