Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state tax regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Provide tax planning and compliance guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Deep understanding of California tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
