Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage complex reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and documentation systems
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and tax filings
- Provide financial insights to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Proven track record in financial reporting and audit preparation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
