Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and tax season preparations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable teams and mentor junior staff
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for efficient data management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing teams and process improvement initiatives
- Understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
