Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict accuracy requirements
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting systems using QuickBooks and ERP solutions
- Conduct thorough internal audits and compliance reviews for diverse industries
- Mentor junior accountants while managing team workflow and deadlines
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software platforms
- Proven track record of managing multi-state compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
