As a key player in our design-forward technology department, you will bridge the gap between artistic vision and technical execution. You will be responsible for architecting high-performance 2D rendering engines that push the boundaries of what is possible in the browser and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-performance 2D rendering pipelines using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and custom rendering engines.
- Optimize rendering loops and asset loading strategies to ensure 60fps performance on all devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate creative concepts into pixel-perfect, interactive graphics.
- Implement and manage 2D physics engines and animation libraries to enhance user engagement.
- Debug complex graphical artifacts and implement shader code for advanced visual effects.
- Mentor junior developers on best practices for graphics optimization and vector math.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Deep expertise in 2D graphics programming, including Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and WebGL.
- Proficiency in C++ or C# for native graphics development.
- Strong understanding of vector mathematics, linear algebra, and matrix transformations.
- Experience with animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js) and physics engines (Matter.js, Box2D).
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
